Great Persia : The Big Canyon


This canyon consists of some building attributed to Bahram -e - Choubin, one of the commanders 
of Sassanid army , wich include entrance and the lateral arm of the canyon , residential buildings inside
 the canyon , the shah's castle , a carved pond , carved stone stairs , and southward fortification .
In building this complex , rubble and half - beaten plaster were used .
Any kind of manipulation in the perimetter of the monument is prohibited and leads to legal prosecution.

PERSIA : The Silk Road ! [ Drumul mătăsii ]


The Silk Road is a series of trade and cultural transmission routes that were central to cultural interaction through regions of the Asian continent connecting the West and East by linking traders, merchants, pilgrims, monks, soldiers, nomads and urban dwellers from China to the Mediterranean Sea during various periods of time.
Extending 4,000 miles (6,437 kilometres), the Silk Road gets its name from the lucrative Chinese silk trade which was carried out along its length, and began during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). The Central Asian sections of the trade routes were expanded around 114 BC by the Han dynasty, largely through the missions and explorations of Zhang Qian. They took great interest in the safety of their products being traded and extended the Great Wall to ensure the protection of the trade route.
Trade on the Silk Road was a significant factor in the development of the civilizations of China, the Indian subcontinent, Persia, Europe and Arabia. It opened long-distance, political and economic interactions between the civilizations.In addition to economic trade, the Silk Road served as a ways of cultural trade between the networking civilizations.
The main traders during Antiquity were the Persian traders, the Romans, the Indians and Bactrian traders had involvement, then from the 5th to the 8th century the Sogdian traders, during the coming of age of Islam Arab traders became prominent.

Great page in the  history of Persia (Iran) ; The ancient city of Seimarreh


   The ancient city of Seimarreh in historical geography was a part of jebalarca. The remaining parts of this city are scattered in a very huge space around 200 hectares.  The remaining arhitecture of the city regardingthe ups and downs in the area , are located in different levels. Some of the roofs of the buildings are still remained intact .
   The master house , the mosque , peripheral establishments , the work shop around the town including small residential building and also the buildings near the band bridge are some of the places excavated  during nine seasons under the administration of Ms Simin La Kpour.
   Based on this excavating this city belongs to early Islamic era. Any kind of manipulation in the perimeter of the monument is prohibited and leads to legal prosecution.
